This is just a quick blurb about an upcoming write up. I have been for the past 6 months in the prototyping phase on a robot project. This Robot is a wireless network controlled Video Surveillance Bot w/2-way audio. The bot has been in the testing and design phase for a while now, but I am now working on the final shell and design. It is powered by an 18v Drill battery, has a network ip camera for it’s audio and video, a linksys router to allow it to connect to the network and an arduino to tie it all together. It is all controlled remotely either on the same network or through the internet using a pc and an xbox controller using a piece of software I wrote for Windows.
